I had such a wonderful time at Art in the Park and I met some wonderful people. The three most popular pieces were La Sirena (the mermaids), Best Friends (the wine bottle pieces), and Half Shell (the oyster pieces).  

  Currently I am very busy creating some commissioned pieces, preparing for some more shows and creating pieces for the Copper Column in Fairhope! If you haven't been to the Copper Column, you need to go! It's is one of the coolest art galleries ever!!

Who loves oysters? I've done a few of these pieces and have gotten such great feedback from them that they may become a favorite. I can make "Half Shell" look rustic or even a little bit classy! You're choice but it truly is an original and definitely a conversation piece!

All of my close friends are going to be excited when I finish this one!!! I was so happy and upset (at the same time) that I sold my personal piece for my kitchen. Well, I finally put away my pity party and am creating another masterpiece for my space. Got so excited when I finished this step!!  Half way there! Stay tuned for the finished product!!

"AMELIA" Air Race Classic Donation

"Amelia" benefitting female pilots at the 2015 Air Race Classic!

   It was such a beautiful event Thursday evening, that hosted so many amazing women in aviation! Midlife Crisis of LA performed at the hangar party while everyone gathered to honor these women pilots. My fear of flying became a little less dramatic as I watched a beautiful blue and yellow "convertible" plane with two people in the back, hair flowing in the air, fly gracefully a few hundred feet above us. What a wild scene to see the passionate love of aviation fill the sky!

"Girl's Night Out"

Girl's Night Out consists of three bottles of white wine and three wine glasses interpreting a beautiful GNO!

These wine pieces are really becoming a favorite.  This piece is so clean with hints of silver, gray, a slight pink champagne, some gold shimmer and the sparkle of the glass.  The white really makes this piece clean and ready to go with any decor!  "Girl's Night Out" is 18x24 on canvas.

When you're sitting by the "Dock of the Bay", what do you see? What do you hear? Do you reflect on the day? Your life?

When I create art, I pray that each piece will make you treasure your life and all it has to offer. When you look at my art, I hope that you don't see what everyone else will see, but see only what your heart will see.

Who loves flamingos? What about a Peach Flamingo? The moment I got my hand on these beautiful shells, I knew what was coming next. This flamingo is 16x20 and searching for its forever home.

The H.L. Sonny Callahan Airport in the City of Fairhope will be the final stop and the finish line of the 2015 Air Race Classic, Inc.. It begins in Fredericksburg, Va and spans over 2199 nautical miles!!

 Continental Motors, Inc. is sponsoring and hosting the "hangar" party at the finish line on Thursday, June 25th from 6-9pm. This will include the awesome band MidLife Crisis LA sponsored by Yours Truly, Beautiful Junk Art, great food and beverages!! What do you want to see when you look at your artwork? 

Every piece of my art has layers upon layers of dimension and depth and every angle has a view and different characteristics. I cannot express enough how different each piece looks in person opposed to a photo. It is nearly impossible to capture the beauty of each piece!
